After running the calculation program, the output shows deformation near the trench whereas it was supposed to occur near the dynamic load. I've tried many a times and the problem still persists. How to solve this?

I'm modeling a machine foundation in Plaxis and I need to find its natural frequency. How can I do it?

I have searched the database and found out there are some tutorials and PDF guides with this term. I recommend checking the link posted below to learn more about natural frequency. The third link on the page will be a PDF where you can see a clear example of natural frequency is used.

I wonder how could I simulate the impact of a ship on a breakwater in plaxis? If the breakwater is a trapezoidal structure with some plates covering the softer (sand) materials. The impact would be an energy (force?) dissipated by the breakwater. Maybe in different stages i could simulate the impact?

You will have to take advantage of the Google Search in order to use the available PDFs. There is an example on the first website that you can use an alternative to simulate the impact of a ship. Access Google Search, download the PDF file and follow the example then apply it to your simulation, but make sure you choose the right settings for the ship and also you have to change the environment.
